Changing the oil in the transfer case (Hyundai Santa Fe CM)

Recommended transmission oil

SHELL SPIRAX AX (GL-5 according to API classification, viscosity SAE80W-90).

With the vehicle parked on a level, horizontal surface, remove the drain plug and drain the oil from the transfer case.

Replace the drain plug (Fig. 3.47).

Remove the filler plug.

Pour the required amount of recommended oil into the filler hole.

Replace the filler plug.
