ISOFIX is a standardized method of attaching a child restraint device (child seat) using special mounting brackets fitted to the rear seat of the vehicle (Fig. 1.169).

Using this method ensures greater safety in transporting children, as well as faster and easier installation of the child seat.

Between the cushions and the back of the rear seat there is a pair of lower brackets for installing a child restraint system with the ISOFIX fastening system (Fig. 1.170).



The child seat is secured in the lower anchorages and with a mounting strap in the anchorage located in the luggage compartment. The installation of the child restraint device with the ISOFIX fastening system is carried out in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer of this device.

Note: A child restraint system with the ISOFIX anchorage system may only be used if it is approved in accordance with the requirements of ECE-R44.

Insert the child restraint connectors into the lower mountings, a click will be heard when correctly installed (Fig. 1.171).

Attach the hook of the mounting strap to the anchor bracket and pull the strap to securely attach the hook to the bracket.

Suitability of child restraints for use in different seating positions



L2: the seat is suitable for installing child seats of the PegPerego primo Viaggio model, corresponding to the weight category of the child.

L4: The seat is suitable for installing child seats of the GRACO Autobaby model, corresponding to the weight category of the child.



L5: The seat is suitable for installing child seats of the Romer Lord Plus model, corresponding to the weight category of the child.

L6: The seat is suitable for installing Euro Kids Star child seats that correspond to the child's weight category.

L7: The seat is suitable for installing child seats of the BeSafe iZi COMFORT model, corresponding to the weight category of the child.

L9: The seat is suitable for installing child seats of the Bebe comfort HiPSOS model, corresponding to the weight category of the child.

L10: The seat is suitable for installing ROMER ISOFIX GR1 child seats corresponding to the weight category of the child.

U: The seat is suitable for installing "universal" child seats that correspond to the weight category of the child.

UF: The seat is suitable for installing "universal" child seats in which the child is positioned facing the direction of travel of the vehicle and corresponding to the weight category in which the child falls.

X: The location is not suitable for installing child seats for this weight category.
