Removal
Main muffler
Warning: Make sure the exhaust system is sufficiently cool before removing or inspecting components.
1. Disconnect the main muffler from the center muffler.
2. Remove the rubber hangers and remove the main muffler from the vehicle.
Central muffler
1. Separate the center muffler from the main muffler and exhaust pipe.
2. Remove the rubber hangers and remove the center muffler from the vehicle.
Exhaust intake pipe
1. Separate the exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter.
2. Unscrew the bolt securing the exhaust pipe clamp to the central muffler.
Installation
1. Temporarily install the catalytic converter, exhaust pipe, center muffler and rear muffler assembly.
2. Tighten all exhaust system connections securely. When moving the vehicle exhaust system sideways, make sure it does not touch the vehicle body. If it does, replace the exhaust system rubber hangers.
