Removal

1. Loosen the nuts and remove the windshield wiper arms.

Tightening torque: 7–11 Nm

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Checking the frequency of the windshield wiper

1. Disconnect the connector from the wiper motor.

2. Using additional wires, connect the positive terminal of the battery to terminal 1 of the electric motor connector, and the negative terminal to terminal 3.

3. Make sure the wiper motor is running at low speed.

4. Using additional wires, connect the positive terminal of the battery to terminal 2 of the electric motor connector, and the negative terminal to terminal 3.

5. Make sure the wiper motor is running at high speed.

Checking the automatic stop of the brushes in the initial state

1. Run the engine at low speed.

2. After disconnecting the wire from terminal 1 of the connector, stop the engine in any position other than the original one.

3. Connect terminals 1 and 5 of the connector.

4. Using additional wires, connect the positive terminal of the battery to terminal 4 of the electric motor connector, and the negative terminal to terminal 3.

5. Check that the wiper motor switches off when the wiper blades are in the home position.
