Checking the engine oil level (Hyundai Sonata Y3)

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.

2. Turn off the engine.

3. Make sure that the engine oil level is within the limits indicated on the dipstick. If the oil level has dropped to the lower limit (MIN mark), bring it up to the "MAX" mark.

Note: When adding oil, use the same type of oil as the engine.

4. Make sure the oil is free from contamination, is not mixed with coolant or gasoline, and has the correct viscosity.
