All Hyundai Motor Company engines are equipped with high-quality full-flow oil filters with replaceable filter elements. The quality of replaceable filters varies greatly. To ensure the most efficient operation, only high-quality ones should be used. Before installing a new filter, make sure that the rubber gasket of the old filter is removed.

Replacing the oil filter



1. Use a filter wrench to remove the oil filter.

2. Before installing the new oil filter on the engine, apply clean engine oil to the surface of the rubber gasket.

3. Tighten the oil filter to the specified torque.

4. Start the engine and check for oil leaks.

5. After turning off the engine, check the oil level and top up if necessary.
