Withdrawal
Pic. 2.328. Disconnecting the crankcase ventilation hose
Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the throttle body (pic. 2.328).

Disconnect the accelerator pedal cable (pic. 2.329).
Disconnect the coolant hose from the throttle body.
Disconnect the crankcase ventilation valve hose and brake booster vacuum hose.

Remove the vacuum hose fitting (pic. 2.330).

Remove the intake manifold reservoir support bracket (pic. 2.331).
Relieve any residual pressure in the system before disconnecting the high pressure fuel hose from the fuel rail.

Disconnect the fuel hoses from the fuel manifold (pic. 2.332).

Remove the intake manifold reservoir and gasket (pic. 2.333).

Disconnect the fuel injector harness connector (pic. 2.334).

Remove the fuel manifold with injectors and fuel pressure regulator (pic. 2.335).
Attention! Be careful not to drop the injectors when removing the fuel manifold.

Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor connector (pic. 2.336).

Remove intake manifold assembly and gasket (pic. 2.337).
Checking the intake manifold and receiver
Check the parts for cracks and damage.
Check the condition of the air passage channels, coolant outlet and inlet channels and vacuum hose fittings. Clean if necessary

Using a ruler and a flat feeler gauge, measure the deflection of the intake manifold mating plane (pic. 2.338).
Nominal flatness value: less than 0.15 mm.
Limit value: 0.20 mm.

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Torque:
- Intake manifold - 19–21 Nm.
- Intake manifold receiver - 15–20 Nm.
