Removal
Attention!
- To remove the ECM, you must first remove the lower instrument panel trim.
- If the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated and there are DTCs stored in the ECM memory, use the HI-SCAN tool to check the DTCs.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
Note: When removing the engine control unit, be careful not to scratch the instrument panel.
1. Set the steering column to the upper position.
2. Remove the door trim and instrument panel end trim.
3. Remove the cover from the fuse box.

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
