Caution: When operating the vehicle in dusty areas or in rough terrain, check and replace the filter element more often than usual.
1. Open the glove box, remove the glove box stoppers, then lower the glove box completely.

2. Unscrew the two screws securing the glove box hinges from the instrument panel side.

3. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the glove box and glove box mounting bracket as an assembly.

4. Open the latches on both sides of the cabin filter cover (on the heater electric fan unit) and remove it.

5. Remove the filter element and replace it with a new one.
Note: When installing, pay attention to the orientation of the filter element in accordance with the direction of air flow.

6. Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Caution: After installing the cabin filter, make sure that the cabin filter cover is installed correctly, as incorrect installation may cause air leaks from the heater electric fan unit and, as a result, deterioration in the operation of the heater and air conditioner.
