Replacing the air filter of the climate control system (for the evaporator unit and fan) (Hyundai Santa Fe CM)

The climate control filter is located in front of the evaporator unit behind the glove box. It helps reduce the level of pollutants entering the vehicle.

Open the glove compartment and remove the adjusting pins from both sides of the glove compartment (Fig. 1.222).

Remove the shock absorber mounts from the bushing on the right side of the glove compartment (Fig. 1.223).

Lower the glove compartment down to the stop.

Press the latches to remove the climate control filter (Fig. 1.224).

Replace the climate control filter by lifting it upwards (Fig. 1.225).

Install all removed parts in the reverse order described above.
