Attention! If the vehicle is towed incorrectly, the vehicle may be damaged.
Attention! Make sure the shift lever is in neutral (for automatic transmission - selector in position «N»).
Attention! In order not to lock the steering mechanism, make sure that the ignition key is in the position «ACC».
Towing a car with front wheel drive

The vehicle can be towed by lifting the front/rear wheels 1, 2 or on the platform of a recovery vehicle 3 (pic. 1.206).
Attention! Make sure that the bumper, engine parts, suspension and bodywork at the bottom of the car will not be damaged during towing. Do not tow the vehicle using the lifting hook of a recovery vehicle.
If the vehicle is towed with the front wheels raised, make sure the parking brake is released.
Note. Before towing, check the fluid level in the automatic transmission. If it is below the mark «NOT» («Hot») on the dipstick, add fluid. If it is not possible to add fluid, a towing cart must be used.

If the drive axle parts are damaged, the suspension is damaged, or the vehicle is towed with the rear wheels raised, use a tow bar under the front wheels.
On manual transmission vehicles, when towing without using a tow dolly, turn the ignition key to the «ACC», the shift lever is in the neutral position.
Attention! When towing the vehicle without using a towing dolly, do not remove the key from the ignition switch and do not leave it in the «LOCK».
On vehicles with automatic transmission, it is mandatory to use a towing dolly under the front wheels when towing.
Do not tow a vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission with the rear of the vehicle forward with the rear wheels raised. This can seriously damage the gearbox. It is recommended to tow the car with its full loading on the platform of the tow truck.
Towing a car with all-wheel drive
A four-wheel drive vehicle must be towed loaded onto a tow truck or using a tow dolly.
Attention! When towing a 4WD vehicle with the front or rear wheels up, always use a tow dolly to avoid damaging the 4WD system.
Attention! Make sure that the bumper, engine parts, suspension and bodywork at the bottom of the car will not be damaged during towing.
Do not tow the vehicle using the lifting hook of a recovery vehicle.
