Fig. 1.205. Location of the fire extinguisher

The fire extinguisher is located under the luggage compartment floor covering (Fig. 1.205).

In the event of a minor fire, follow the steps below.

To use the fire extinguisher, pull the pin at the top of the extinguisher.

Point the fire extinguisher nozzle at the center of the fire.

Move at least 2.5 m away from the fire and press the fire extinguisher lever. When you release the lever, the foam supply will stop.

After the fire has been extinguished, return the fire extinguisher nozzle to its original position. Make sure that no new fires have occurred. Then put the fire extinguisher back in its normal place.

Warning triangle

In the event of an emergency, if it is necessary to stop on the roadway, place an emergency stop sign behind the vehicle, taking into account the safety of vehicle traffic.

First aid medical kit

The first aid kit contains scissors, a bandage, adhesive tape and the necessary medications for first aid.

Pressure gauge (additional equipment)

With the help of a pressure gauge located in the tool bag of the car, you can constantly monitor the air pressure in the tires of the car. In normal weather conditions, periodically check the pressure in the tires of the car. In case of changes in the ambient temperature, it is necessary to check the pressure in the tires more often.

Checking tire pressure

Unscrew the valve cap on the wheel disk.

Press and hold the pressure gauge on the valve. You may hear a brief hissing sound of air escaping. Then press the pressure gauge harder.

This eliminates air leakage during measurement.

Record the pressure gauge readings.

After this, put the pressure gauge back into the tool bag.
