Fire extinguisher
Pic. 1.205. Location of the fire extinguisher
The fire extinguisher is located under the luggage compartment floor covering (pic. 1.205).
In the event of a minor fire, follow the steps below.
To use the fire extinguisher, pull the pin at the top of the fire extinguisher.
Point the extinguisher nozzle at the center of the fire.
Move at least 2.5 m away from the source of fire and press the fire extinguisher lever. When the lever is released, the foam supply will stop.
After extinguishing the source of ignition, return the fire extinguisher nozzle to its original position. Make sure there are no new fires. After that, remove the fire extinguisher to its regular place.
Warning triangle
In the event of an emergency, if it is necessary to stop on the roadway, put an emergency stop sign behind the car, taking into account the safety of the traffic.
Medical first aid kit
The medical first aid kit contains scissors, a bandage, an adhesive plaster and the necessary medicines for first aid.
Pressure gauge (optional equipment)
Using the pressure gauge in the vehicle's tool bag, you can constantly monitor the air pressure in the vehicle's tires. Under normal weather conditions, periodically check the pressure in the tires of the car. If the outside temperature fluctuates, check the tire pressure more frequently.
Tire pressure check
Unscrew the valve cap on the wheel disk.
Press and hold the pressure gauge on the valve. This may result in a brief hissing sound of escaping air. Then press the pressure gauge harder.
This prevents air leakage during measurement.
Record the pressure gauge reading.
Then put the pressure gauge in the tool bag.
