Caution! Before connecting (or disconnecting) the Hi-Scan tester, turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.

Attention! Raise the car with a jack and install support stands under it in specially designated places or install the wheels to be checked on the brake tester drums.

Caution! During testing, the surfaces of the brake tester drum and the tire must be dry.

Caution: When testing the front brakes, set the parking brake on the vehicle, and when testing the rear brakes, block the front wheels.

Release the parking brake lever and check the resistance force (torque) at each wheel.

When using a brake tester, record the drag force values at each wheel.

Turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position and connect the Hi-Scan or Hi-Scan Pro tester as shown in the figure.

Place the gear shift lever (manual transmission models) or selector lever (automatic transmission models) in neutral, then start the engine.

Note: If the ABS system has been disabled by the emergency function, the actuator test cannot be performed using the Hi-Scan tester.

Using the Hi-Scan tester, force the actuator to be tested to operate.
