Adjusting the position of the hood and its lock (Mitsubishi Matrix)

Adjust the longitudinal and lateral clearances of the hood position using the holes in the hinge.



Turn the adjusting bolts clockwise or counterclockwise to set the required clearances (Fig. 8.2).

Loosen the bolts holding the hood latch.



Adjust the position of the hood lock retainer and the hood retainer by adjusting the horizontal and vertical positions of the retainer and lock (Fig. 8.3).
