Removal

Disconnect the rear window heating element wire connector (Fig. 8.4).

Remove the tailgate trim.

Remove the additional brake light (Fig. 8.5).

Remove the upper trim from the rear door frame (Fig. 8.6).

Remove the four self-tapping screws and remove the tailgate trim panel (Fig. 8.7).

Remove the side decorative panel of the tailgate trim (Fig. 8.8).

Unscrew the four nuts and remove the decorative trim from the tailgate.

Unscrew the four screws and remove the license plate lights (Fig. 8.9).

After removing the mounting nuts (2EA), disconnect the rod and remove the rear lid centre console (Fig. 8.10).

Remove the lock cylinder by unscrewing the mounting bolt and remove the rear window wiper (Fig. 8.11).

Disconnect the rear window wiper motor power connector.

Remove the rear window wiper motor after removing the mounting nut (Fig. 8.12).

Remove the rear door lever actuators, disconnect the connectors and remove the levers.
