Removal
1. Remove the air intake hose, the air duct connected to the air cleaner and the resonator.
2. Remove the three air cleaner bolts.
3. Remove the air cleaner.
4. Remove the air flow sensor.
Examination
1. Check the air cleaner housing, cover and gasket for deformation, corrosion and other defects.
2. Check the air duct for damage.
3. Check the filter element for capacity, contamination or damage.
4. Check the air cleaner housing for dirt or damage.
5. Check the condition of the resonator.
Installation
The air cleaner is installed in place in the reverse order.
