All Hyundai engines are equipped with a high-quality disposable oil filter. This type of filter is recommended as a replacement for all vehicles. However, the quality of replacement filters may vary. Only high-quality filters should be installed to ensure the most effective oil cleaning. Before installing a new oil filter, make sure that the remains of the old filter gasket are removed from the surface of the cylinder block adjacent to the filter.
