Use this position to remove frost/condensation (fogging) from the windshield.

To remove frost or condensation (fogging) from the inside of the windshield, set the ventilation mode selection knob to the position (towards the windshield and side window heating deflectors) .

In this case, the air conditioner and outside air intake mode will be automatically turned on.

Set the air temperature control knob to the desired position.

Set the fan mode switch to the desired position.

To remove frost or condensation (fogging) from the outside of the windshield, set the ventilation mode selector knob to the (towards the windshield and side window heating deflectors) position .

In this case, the air conditioner and outside air intake mode will be automatically turned on.



Set the air temperature control knob to the "Warm" position.

Turn the fan mode switch to the right.

Note: If the air conditioner is operated for a long time with the ventilation mode selector knob set to the footwell/windshield and side window defroster position or the windshield and side window defroster position, the inside of the windshield may fog up due to the temperature difference. In this case, set the ventilation mode selector knob to the headwell position and turn on the low fan speed.
